Food Production Systems
“Where in the World Does Your Food Come From?” was developed by the LifeCycles Project Society and presents a series of lessons on the global food system and local alternatives. Students will embark on a journey from the realities of a global import-based food system to the positive alternatives found at the local level, exploring where their own food comes from, “travelling" to Cuba to learn about the revolution in food production there, and using their insight to envision a sustainable food system in their own region.
