Why re-invent the wheel?

Edible Landscapes (EL) is a collaboration of founding members of Veggie Village that have come together to create a diverse team of experts. We can help you fast track the development & success of your community garden.

The ELC team will help your community with ...
•  Developing your own garden identity or using the Veggie Village template   •  Meeting and Workshop Facilitation  • Developing a Vision, Aims and Objectives  •  Action Planning  • Governance   • Sponsorship   • Marketing   • Garden design   •  Construction Management   • Council Liaison   • Grant Writing   • Workshops

Your community can then concentrate on:
• Gathering members   • Learning  • Design input  • Growing food   • Sharing the surplus  • Raising funds  • Building community participation   • Having Fun!

How it works...

  1. Edible Landscape will meet with your community to determine the best approach to developing your new community garden.
  2. We will submit a proposal with recommended actions, services we can assist with and cost estimates.
  3. Your group can use this proposal to request funding or grants. Also consider business sponsorship.
  4. Once funding has been approved we will submit a detailed action plan and timeline.
  5. We then work together to develop your garden that is sustainable and fun.
