Consultancy:

During the consultancy we will go though the results of your questionnaire and become familiar with your wants and needs. Creating your new garden is a very personal journey and this consultancy is a beginning of a relationship between your household, your garden and us.

It is important to have all your household at this meeting, especially children, as it creates ownership and children often have some fun ideas.

On arrival at your property we:

1. Sit down with you, and ideally everyone who lives at the site, to discuss your answers to the questionnaire.
2. Show you some basics examples of sustainable gardening and how these will translate into your garden.
3. Walk around your property without you, observing and assessing the characteristics of the site (e.g., sun, wind, slope, soil, existing vegetation).
4. Draw a pencil sketch concept design based on our site analysis and the design brief.
5. Re-walk the site with you, sharing our preliminary concept design and inviting your feedback and any prior design ideas you've had
6. We return to our office to fine tune your concept design and email it to you as a JPG document.
7. We also send a 2-3 page Concept Report summarising our site analysis, design recommendations, and possible next steps.
