Case study - The Norris family

Owen, Kate and their 4 children wanted to grow their own veggies.

Edible Landscapes delivered the raised veggie bed and provided Owen and his family with advice on installation and basic planting tips.

Below is Owen and his children filling up the raised garden beds with garden waste, hay, cow manure, mushroom compost and garden blend soil.

And now their veggies grow...

“I’m a personal trainer and I know the benefits of a heathy and nutritious diet. Not only is my raised bed easy to use, but the vegetables I pick each day are fresher and tastier than the ones I used to buy in a supermarket.”

"Out of this one veggie bed alone, I have enough surplus every week to feed my family and give my clients some to take home" Says Owen

"The helpful advice from the Edible Landscapes team with regards to fertilising and basic maintenance has helped us lots" Says Kate

"The kids have been helping from the beginning and they can now see how veggies are grown. They even pick their favourite and say "That one's mine when it's ripe"."

norris31"We've had our garden bed for 18 months now and we are constantly harvesting healthy and tasty veggies. After each season we top up the soil with our home made compost and plant the next crop. We pick something from it every day"
